The Low Carbon Building Programme
The Low Carbon Building Programme is the main grant fund for renewable technologies. The scheme is run by the Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform and is managed by the Energy Saving Trust.

Local Authorities
Many local authorities provide grants and offers for local residents to install certain energy efficiency measures in their home. Many councils also offer grants for solar heating and other renewable energy systems. Please check with your local council.
The Warm Front Grant Scheme
Warm Front have currently suspended grants for solar heating systems whilst trials are evaluated. There are however grants available for other energy saving measures. Visit the Warm Front website for more information.
